Chelsea know they already have a secret weapon to sign £83million rated Borussia Dortmund star Jamie Bynoe-Gittens. are reportedly among a number of Premier League sides keen on signing the England international.
Liverpool, Tottenham, Nottingham Forest and Crystal Palace are all keeping tabs on Gittens, who spent time in Chelsea's youth set-up before moving to Manchester City. The 20-year-old has followed in the footsteps of current Chelsea winger and is a potential alternative at Stamford Bridge.
According to German outlet Bild, Borussia Dortmund will demand a fee as high as £83.4million before allowing clubs to enter contract negotiations. Reports earlier this year suggested the German top-tier side would ask for a fee in the region of £50million, but his fine form has lead to a dramatic price increase.
The England youth international has nine goals in 68 appearances for BVB with four goals in ten appearances so far this season. He made 34 appearances in all competitions in 2023/24 as Dortmund reached the Champions League final.
Bynoe-Gittens signed for Dortmund in 2020 and has emerged as one of the most exciting prospects in the Bundesliga this season. He still has four-years remaining on his contract at the Signal Iduna Park and the German giants are under no pressure to sell one of their star talents.
However, Chelsea have a secret weapon up their sleeve in Sancho. The 24-year-old spent a year in Dortmund with Bynoe-Gittens and his compatriot admitted he'd learned a lot from the Blues winger.

"I've learned a lot from Jadon," Bynoe-Gittens previously stated. "For example... That I have to play with one or two touches more often, that I have to offer deeper runs more often.
"And when he plays, he enjoys himself. I've learned that, too. Jadon is a friend."
