Earlier, Meena stated, "We received a fire call from Raghubarpura at 3:05 pm. Initially, three fire brigades were sent, followed by a total of 12 currently engaged on site. The fire erupted on the building's second and third floors, where storage in the godown is hindering firefighting efforts. The cause of the fire is still under investigation."
This Diwali, Delhi recorded an unprecedented surge in fire-related incidents, reaching the highest number of emergency calls received by the Delhi Fire Service since 2012. By midnight on Diwali day, the service had experienced a notable increase, hitting a 12-year peak.
