The Indian Premier League (IPL) fixture between Punjab Kings (PBKS) and Delhi Capitals (DC) has been called off on Thursday evening due to a floodlight malfunction at the Himachal Pradesh Cricket Association Stadium in Dharamsala.
However, amid air raid alerts in nearby areas, a blackout has been imposed in the hill town. Players and spectators were evacuated for safety reasons, PTI reported.
The match was paused in the first innings, with PBKS having scored 122 runs in 10.1 overs, with the loss of one wicket. Priyansh Arya made 70 off 34 balls before getting dismissed by pacer T Natarajan before proceedings came to a halt. Prabhsimran Singh was batting at 50 off 28 balls.
