NEW DELHI: French President Emmanuel Macron, Israeli PM Benjamin Netanyahu, Italian PM Giorgia Meloni, King Abdullah II of Jordan, Japanese PM Shigeru Ishiba and Egyptian President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi on Thursday spoke to Prime Minister Narendra Modi and condemned the Pahalgam terror attack.
Netanyahu expressed his condolences over the "terrorist attack in Kashmir". Modi shared the barbaric nature of the attack and reiterated India's firm resolve to bring the perpetrators and their supporters to justice.
Meloni "conveyed her thoughts and prayers for the victims and wished a speedy recovery of those injured". Macron conveyed his personal condolences on the brutal killing of innocent people in the attack. King Abdullah II of Jordan also called Modi and strongly condemned the "ghastly terror attack". President Sisi reiterated that Egypt stands shoulder to shoulder with India in the fight against terrorism.
