However, there's no scientific basis for children becoming disabled during an eclipse. This myth has been spread in society. Whether it's a lunar or solar eclipse, one should never view it without glasses. The light of the eclipse definitely affects the eyes, but the rumors about the unborn child are simply a myth.

Pregnant women need care
He said that pregnant women require special care. They need a quiet environment and rest. Furthermore, seeing a doctor regularly is a good option. He added that this myth may have been spread in society to discourage pregnant women from going out and risking eye damage.
