Sidh Peeth Chauth Mata Mandir: The festival of Karva Chauth will be celebrated across the country on Friday, October 10th. This festival is celebrated every year on the Chaturthi Tithi of the Krishna Paksha (dark fortnight) of the month of Kartika. This festival is especially celebrated in the states of North and Central India. On this day, wives observe a waterless fast for the long life of their husbands, breaking it after seeing the moon at night. But did you know that there are temples dedicated to Chauth Mata in Rajasthan and Ujjain, where women go to seek blessings for eternal happiness?

Siddh Peeth Chauth Mata Temple in Rajasthan
The Siddh Peeth Chauth Mata Temple is located in the Barwada town of Chauth in the Madhopur district of Rajasthan. This temple is especially famous for the boon of long life for husbands. It is believed that the husbands of women who seek Chauth Mata's blessings will not be short-lived. This temple is situated on the hills of the Aravalli Mountains, and devotees must climb a long staircase to reach the temple courtyard. On the occasion of Karva Chauth, this temple is thronged with women.
Chauth Mata is another form of Goddess Gauri. It is believed that wishes made at this temple never go unfulfilled. The temple also draws a large crowd during Navratri. This temple is also special because it was built by the ruler Bhim Singh. The temple's architecture reflects Rajasthan's art and ancient traditions.

Karva Chauth Mata Temple in Ujjain
Ujjain, the city of Baba Mahakal, also has a Karva Chauth Mata Temple dedicated to Goddess Parvati. This temple is located in Jeevankhedi village near the Unhel bypass, yet it holds immense veneration. Goddess Parvati is enshrined in this temple with her two daughters-in-law, Riddhi and Siddhi, and Lord Ganesha. The unique feature of this temple is that it is open only on Karva Chauth and remains closed the rest of the year. Dr. Kailash Nagvanshi built this temple and dedicated it to his mother.
