Zila Parishad Gears Up For Sant Nivruttinath Ashadhi Wari With Focus On Cleanliness, Health, And Shelter

A planning meeting was held on behalf of Nashik Zilla Parishad in the backdrop of the Sant Nivruttinath Maharaj Ashadhi Palkhi ceremony. A joint meeting of the Sant Nivruttinath Sansthan, Gram Panchayats on the Palkhi Marg, and related administrative agencies was held under the chairmanship of Zilla Parishad in-charge Pratibha Sangamnere.

In this meeting, emphasis was placed on taking well-planned action in the villages on the Palkhi Marg by coordinating with various departments. The Group Development Officers of Trimbakeshwar, Nashik, and Sinnar talukas were instructed to be ready by holding separate meetings of taluka-level agencies.

Since thousands of devotees are participating in the Wari, health check-ups, sanitation arrangements, and shelter facilities are of utmost importance in the backdrop of epidemics. In this regard, District Health Officer Dr. Sudhakar More was instructed to keep necessary medicines available for the prevention of epidemic diseases.
