The of 2025 kicked off on Saturday night, with hosts and Dec Donnelly introducing the latest batch of hopefuls.
But one duo in particular were forced to hit back at judge Simon Cowell's suggestion they didn't want to be there, as he asked them if they even wanted to win. , the judges and viewers at home, all battling it out for a place in the live final at the end of the month.
It was Gymnast Albert Amores, danger act Bao, singing group Electric Umbrella, and fellow singers and Mickey Callisto taking to the stage this week, alongside musician Rumac and two dance acts, Harry & Lewis and Ping Pong Pang.
But Harry & Lewis were left facing a number of the same comments from viewers who watched their second performance. Not only that, they were quick to call out Simon's suggestion they "didn't say much" that proved they wanted to win this year's series.
As the episode got underway, judges Amanda Holden, Simon, Alesha Dixon and were ready with their comments. They were divided over Harry and Lewis with some comments suggesting it wasn't as good this time around, and others applauding their improved routine.

Simon rather awkwardly said to the men: "Do you actually want to win... you don't say much." Hosts Ant and Dec gave the pair a chance to reveal how they felt, with them confirming they did in fact want to be on the stage.
Hitting back at Simon, Harry said: "Of course we wanna win it, we'd have never been here if we didn't wanna win it," adding it was a "dream" for them to make the live semi-finals.
But Simon wasn't the only one with something to say about the pair, with fans at home all making the same observation about their routine. Viewers repeated that the duo reminded them of former contestants Twist and Pulse, joking they'd returned for another go in disguise.
One viewer posted online: "Shein version of Twist & Pulse," as another said: "Close enough, welcome back twist and pulse." A third fan said: "The first act is yet another Twist and Pulse knock-off?"
A fourth viewer commented: "Didn’t twist & pulse do this exact act like 15 years ago." A fifth said: "They’re like Twist and Pulse," as another said: "Temu twist and pulse."
Meanwhile another big moment of the night saw a former contestant return to the show after five years on a reunion with Ant and Dec and the judges. Fayth Ifil took to the stage as the opening act to perform with her Just For One Day castmates.
Ant and Dec revealed at the end of the performance that Fayth was a former contestant on BGT, and had been Simon's Golden Buzzer act - noting he knew what he was talking about. Simon was shown smiling with his arms opened as Dec confirmed she'd been on the show in 2020, when she was just 12 years old.
Dec told her "welcome home" before asking her what it was like to be back. Fayth said: "It's incredible, absolutely insane. It's so good to see you again Simon. I'm so glad to be with an amazing show and an amazing cast."
It comes as hopeful Jasmine opened up about the secret heartache she overcame to impress the show’s judges during her audition, before going on to bag the Golden Buzzer on the night from judge Bruno. Speaking to The , the drag queen opera singer revealed just hours before her performance she discovered her beloved grandmother had passed away.
She spoke of her shock at receiving a phone call from her dad to say she’d died suddenly in her native Korea. “It totally threw me,” admitted Jasmine. It was out of the blue. She wasn't sick. She did have dementia. My family - including my grandma - have been such an amazing support system for me to continue singing. I basically thought of that and used that as fuel to continue and try to concentrate and do my best.”
She went on to wow the crowd with her rendition of Nessun dorma, with judge Bruno left in tears. “How many people can say that they could dedicate a performance to their loved ones on the day that someone passed?” said Jasmine. “It's an anthem for my grandmother as she enters the pearly gates of heaven. I thought ‘She's hearing my voice as she flies away’.”
Then on Saturday night, Jasmine wowed everyone with her performance as she took on a The Greatest Showman classic. Bruno was screamed at by co-star Amanda and the crowd to "press the gold", with Bruno praising the performance before pressing his buzzer.
Meanwhile things took a bit of a turn when one act had the audience on their feet, but the judges couldn't stand it. In fact three of them pressed their buzzers calling for an end to the performance, as musician Rumac performed a chaotic rendition of Take On Me by A-ha.
As the audience cheered, Alesha, Bruno and Amanda all buzzed him, while Simon kept it all going. As things came to an end, the audience booed the judges for booing and critiquing Rumac, with Bruno claiming the performance was like having a hangover.
It was all good fun though, as the act laughed hysterically at the chaos he had caused. Host Ant meanwhile asked to book him for a performance later in the year, calling him "his kind of guy".
The next act was then called a "winning" group by judge Amanda, who urged viewers to get behind them. Bruno said they deserved to make the final, wishing he had another Golden Buzzer.
Ping Pong Pang pulled off an energetic routine, with Alesha calling them sensational and suggesting they needed to make the final. Simon added they'd never seen an act like it on the show, praising the difficult and creative routine.
Elsewhere, and danger act Bao was leaving viewers "disgusted", with Simon likening his act to a horror film. His act saw him attach chains to the inside of his eyelids, before attaching the other end to a small bike or vehicle.
Ant and Dec were asked to sit inside, with Bao the dragging said vehicle along the stage using just his eyelids. This, and the knife swallowing left the audience screaming, with fans calling the act "disgusting".
Viewers were left thrilled towards the end of the episode when former winner Sydnie was joined by former BGT star Loren Allred on stage, for a duet of Over The Rainbow. As the episode came to a close Ant and Dec announced it was Ping Pong Pang who had won the public vote, with them and Jasmine Rice heading into the final.
