Dunelm 'brilliant' Scandinavian £90 side table reduced to £22 in clearance sale

Fans of the Scandinavian interior design trend will be pleased to know they can get their hands on a 'brilliant' wooden side table for a fraction of its usual cost. Thanks to Dunelm's latest clearance sale, homeowners can snap up the 'chic' and 'elegant' furniture for 75% less.

The homeware store's Effy Side Table, which features a 'natural wood grain', has been slashed from £90 to £22.25. The table is designed with a natural wood effect foil, and Dunelm says it is a tribute to "organic elegance and simplicity".

It adds: "Its sleek tabletop seamlessly complements contemporary interiors, providing a stylish surface for your essentials. Complete the look by pairing it with the matching Effy coffee table, and enjoy a cohesive, elegant set that enhances your home decor."

Scandinavian interior design, commonly known as "Scandi," is all about simplicity, practicality, and a bond with nature. It highlights clean lines, plenty of natural light, and a minimalistic, tidy look. Important features consist of light colour palettes, natural materials such as wood and wool, and an emphasis on crafting a warm, welcoming vibe through various textures and comfy fabrics.

The Effy Side Table is 55cm tall, 40cm wide, and 40cm deep. It comes part assembled. The round table face is made of Reach PVC veneer, while the legs are made from wood.

If you are searching for a similar-looking side table, there are plenty of other options to consider. Debenhams has reduced this 'Tora' Triangle Side Table from £222.18 to £49.99. It is available in three different wood colours and has an overall customer rating of 4.9 stars out of five.

Ikea is offering this Stockholm pine veneer side table for £70, which the store says is "easy to move around and adapt to different situations and needs". Jysk has lowered this Lydum pedestal from £49.99 to £40, though the promotion is only on until the end of the month.

However, so far, Dunelm's Effy Side Table has a five-out-of-five-star average rating. This is just because it has only received four reviews as of July 24—all four were positive. So, if you're looking for more balanced feedback, this small amount might be off-putting.
