A white lace co-ord might sound overtly feminine, but M&S’s latest take is anything but girlish. This pairing—cut with a crisp silhouette, and a high-neck puff-sleeve blouse with modern cutwork—lands firmly in the realm of chic romance rather than whimsy. The proportions are also very clever: volume at the sleeve balances the wide leg of the trousers, meaning you won't look wide at the bottom. The has almost a Victoriana edge – an era that's making a surprising style comeback.

Because the lace of both pieces is large in detailing, it moves more into fashion than 'grandmother's curtains'. It reminds us of a Self Portrait set, but, of course, for a lot less money. While the white colourway means it's not a good pick for a wedding guest outfit, it is ideal for garden parties, christenings, race-wear and dinners out. Plus, you can wear both of the pieces individually to give them much more wear. The wide-leg trousers, for instance, would look gorgeous with a half-tucked blue shirt.

It's hardly surprising that stock of the co-ord is dwindling fast, since dozens of Binky's followers are taking to the comment section to ask for more details on the items so they can order them for themselves.

"Ordering that set now," says one, while another asks: "Where can I find this co-ord couldnt see it on the website??"

"LOVE that outfit!!!," says a third, with a fourth chiming in with: "Binky your style these days - love all your looks, super classy."

"The white set is so good," concludes a fourth.

If £95 is out of your budget, but you want something similar for a bit less,, now £25, is a good alternative.
