Police are investigating after a number of people who attended Creamfields festivalreported their missing phones appearing at the same address.
After returning from the electronic dancemusic festival in Daresbury, Cheshire, several people looked into their Apple iCloud to track the location of their missing mobile phones through the Find My Apple app. The last address their devices were recorded at was in Barking, Greater London.
Kim O’Rielly, 41, from Runcorn, told the Liverpool Echo she thinks alleged were part of an "organised operation". She said dozens on the Creamfields Facebook Community Group had reported similar issues.
She said: "It was my 19-year-old daughter Ellie's phone that was taken. It was on the Sunday night during the David Guetta set, it was the last set of the night at around 10:20pm.

"She had taken her phone out of her bag and was recording the set. She put it back into her bag, zipped it up, then around five minutes later she went into her bag and noticed it [her bag] was open and her phone was missing."
Ellie checked the surrounding area to see if she had dropped her iPhone on the floor and noticed a number of girls doing the same thing. Kim said: "There was a few girls looking for their phone near to where she was stood. She wasn't drunk or anything."
Ellie went home that evening and tracked the phone to an address in Manchester, but is suddenly disappeared. Her phone next pinged at the Barking address.
A number of people on the Facebook page said their phones appeared at the same address. Police said previously officers had "no indication" organised groups were behind thefts.
Isabel Margaret-Cole, from Wirral, said she went to Creamfields and suddenly found her phone missing from her hand. "I turned around to speak to my friend and the next thing it [her phone] was gone out of my hand,” the 19-year-old said.
"I checked Find my iPhone when I got home from the festival on Monday and it said it was at an address in London. One of my friends had her phone robbed [during the festival] and her phone is in the same place."
And one unnamed 19-year-old, from Manchester, said her "brand new" iPhone 15 was taken from her bag during the festival. The same individual also thinks there may have been an “organised operation”. Her phone ended up at the Barking address.
A spokesperson for Cheshire Police said previously enquiries were ongoing, and added: "As with all large events, we receive reports of lost or suspected stolen property, including mobile phones. At this time, there is no indication that organised crime gangs were involved in the theft of any property at Creamfields."
The Mirror has approached police and Creamfields for further comment.
