headed off to Basel, Swizterland after yesterday's , and this morning he broadcast live from Basel as he spoke to semi-final co-commentator about last night's thrilling first semi-final.
Of course, Richard couldn't miss an opportunity to ask Rylan whether he knew if music legend Celine Dion would be making a surprise appearance during the finals, as the former star exclaimed: "Stranger things have happened."
As Richard asked Rylan what he could share with his "inside knowledge," the star said: "I can't see Celine popping up, however, weirder things have happened at Eurovision. If she does, I think me and Scott [Mills] will simply perish and turn into a bubble of dust. It could happen, it could happen, but who knows. We love her!"

The speculation comes after the first semi-final last night, with a special message for fans. The singer shared her pride over having once won the contest in the video, which left some fans emotional.
In the short video, the star said: "Dear Eurovision family and contestants, I'd love nothing more than to be with you in Basel right now. Switzerland will forever hold a special place in my heart. It's a country that believed in me and gave me the chance to be part of something so extraordinary.
"Winning the Eurovision Song Contest for Switzerland in 1988 was a life-changing moment for me, and I'm so thankful for everyone who supported me. Now, 37 years later, it's so beautiful and emotional to see Switzerland winning and hosting this incredible event once again.
"To the people of Switzerland, thank you for your love. This night is yours, and I hope you feel as proud as I do."
Her message was then followed by a cover of her winning song by Jerry Heil, iolanda, Marina Satti and Silvester Belt, who competed in the competition last year.
Celine was , a rare neurological condition, in 2022, which has impacted her ability to sing.
The rare condition, which causes muscle stiffness and spasms makes it difficult for Celine to control her voice, and therefore perform.
Eurovision continues on Thursday night with the second semi-final at 8pm on BBC One and BBC iPlayer. The grand final will then be broadcast on Saturday from 8pm.
