Zara McDermott swears by Sol de Janeiro body oil that 'you need in your drawer' for glowy skin

This year’s awards saw plenty of famous faces hitting the red carpet, including who wowed in a glittering black and silver gown. Fans were obsessed with the documentary makers look, and Zara was kind enough to share some of her beauty secrets that she’d relied on to get ready for the annual event.

Zara continued: “These are the only body oils I swear by. You need to have one in your drawer! The Rio Sunset colour is the lighter shade and the one I use more regularly. You can mix in with your normal body moisturiser for a really subtle glow or if you want to go extra (like me) you can use them on top. They make you look so tanned and show up so beautifully in piccies.”

If you’re worried about transferring, Sol de Janeiro recommends skipping your moisturiser and applying the oil directly to clean, dry skin.

You can either use a small amount as a liquid highlighter, dabbing it into high points like your cheekbones, nose and brow bones, or mix it with your face moisturiser for a soft, subtle glow that seems to come from within.
