World Highest Profitable Movie: In 2007, film producer Oren Peli made Paranormal Activity. It was made on a budget of just 15000 dollars and earned a lot of money. It is the highest profit-earning film to date.

World Highest Profitable Movie: The success of any film is determined only by its earnings, that is, the more people like the film, the more money the film earns at the box office. But this puts all films in the same category, no matter how different they are. That is, a film whose budget is a thousand crores is also compared in the same way as a film worth 100 crores. Many people consider doing this wrong.

A film's success is also measured by how much money it has earned compared to its budget. By this measure, a sleeper hit from 2007 has earned the title of the most successful film of all time, beating out biggies like "Titanic," "Avatar," and "Avengers: Endgame."

The world's most successful film

In 2007, film producer Oren Peli decided to make a low-budget horror film, using a handheld camera and casting new actors. The film had no solid script and was mostly improvised. Practical effects were used for the horror scenes. Eventually, this film became "Paranormal Activity", which was made on a budget of only $15,000. The film was shown to the people at film festivals and was well received, after which it was bought by Paramount Pictures. It spent $200,000 on its post-production and marketing.

"Paranormal Activity" was released in September 2009 and proved to be a huge hit, grossing a record $194.2 million worldwide. The film's unique "found-footage" technique and freshness mesmerized audiences. The film made a profit of 1,300,000% of its budget, a record that has never been matched since.

The lead actors of the film got this much money

Oren Peli cast two new faces in the film due to budget constraints. Katie Featherston and Mika Slott were both struggling actors who did not have much work. They saw a casting call on LA Casting and auditioned. Peli hired them by paying them minimal money and they got only 500 dollars for their work. However, after the film became a superhit, they were paid from its profits.
