5 best Steam Summer Sale discounts you can't afford to miss

The Steam Summer Sale is in full swing, running until 6pm BST UK time on July 10.

One of the better video game sales of the year, the Steam Summer Sale contains discounts on hundreds of different games, from triple-A blockbusters like God of War Ragnarok and Elden Ring, to indie hits like Hollow Knight and Nine Sols.

The Steam Summer Sale is also home to some absolutely unmissable deep discounts, the best of which are listed below.

5. Robocop Rogue City - Was 44.99, Now £4.49 (90% saving)

Robocop Rogue City is a surprisingly excellent first-person shooter set between the events of Robocop 2 and Robocop 3.

Armed with Robocop's powerful Auto-9, players battle wave after wave of criminals in the city of Old Detroit.

"The city of Old Detroit has been hit by a crime wave, with a new enemy threatening the peace and order," reads the official description. "Your investigation leads you right into the heart of a shadowy conspiracy in an original story that takes place between RoboCop 2 and 3, with striking locations to explore and familiar faces to meet. 4. Tiny Tina's Wonderlands - Was £54.99, Now £10.99 (80% saving)

Tiny Tina's Wonderlands is a Borderlands spinoff, featuring the popular character. The game boasts the same explosive gunplay as the Borderlands series, not to mention an abundance of weaponry.

The twist is that Tiny Tina's Wonderlands has a Dungeons and Dragons theme, containing many fantastical locations, magic and dice rolls.

A remake of the original Half Life, Black Mesa was created by fans but endorsed by Valve.

Needless to say, the game features upgraded visuals and superior gameplay, all the while expanding and actually improving the final chapters of the hugely influential game.

Fortunately, publisher Activision decided to bring Crash back to a modern audience with the release of the Crash Bandicoot N Sane Trilogy, which contains remakes of the first three games in the series.

The Guardians of the Galaxy game tens to get overlooked, despite featuring some fantastic gameplay, superb writing and a great soundtrack.
