Emmerdale's Danny Miller is celebrating fatherhood once more as his wife Steph gives birth to their third child. The actor, who has made a comeback to the ITV soap as Aaron Dingle, joyously announced the arrival of their son. The couple, already parents to Albert and Edith, have now expanded their family, sharing an endearing video of their children meeting their new sibling. In the heartwarming footage, the kids are seen cradling and planting kisses on their baby brother, with Danny also featuring in the clip alongside his latest addition. Accompanying the video, he penned: "When 4 became 5 ... The one where Albert and Edith meet their new baby brother."
His Emmerdale colleagues were quick to share in the celebration, with Isabel Hodgins (Victoria Sugden) commenting: "So cute!!! Congrats guys," and Michelle Hardwick (Vanessa Woodfield) chiming in with: "Ahhh congratulations to you all," reports the Mirror.
Danny recently expressed that three children would complete their family, stating: "Three is definitely the magic number - and probably the last one! My job is very demanding, and we're a few hours away from family, so it's not easy, but we're excited. We've got two beautiful children already. It just feels like we're completing the family."
Danny has made it clear that becoming a father hasn't altered his professional drive.
He praised his partner's understanding, saying: "Steph is so supportive, even when it means long hours or being away. We work it out together and are more selective about what makes sense to pursue, but she holds the fort incredibly well.
"Any parent would feel that guilt. You miss moments. But thanks to camera phones and videos, you still get to see a lot. When I'm home, it's about being truly present - work can wait until tomorrow. Family is always the priority."
When questioned about his children potentially following in his career footsteps, he expressed unconditional support: "I'll support whatever they want to do. Albert is very creative - he loves performing and dancing.
Edith follows him around, too. They've got such a special bond and I love seeing that. Whatever they choose, we'll be fully behind them."
Regarding the anticipation of their baby's arrival, Danny shared their preference for surprise: "We never actually find out. We like it to be a surprise. There aren't many surprises left in life - this is the best kind of natural surprise you can get."
Danny had previously left Emmerdale in 2021 but returned to the soap as Aaron Dingle two years later.
