Austria has been crowned the victors of the Eurovision Song Contest 2025, following a thrilling competition that saw them secure an impressive total of points. The scoring system for Eurovision is a complex process, involving national juries and viewer votes from participating countries, as well as a separate Rest of The World vote.
Each national jury consists of five music professionals from their respective country. Once viewers have cast their votes, each national spokesperson from the 37 participating countries will announce the points of their professional jury live on air. Following the presentation of the scores from the juries, the televoting points from all participating countries are combined, resulting in one score for each song.
These televoting results are then announced by the hosts, building up to a dramatic climax as the winner of Eurovision 2025 is revealed.
After the national juries had cast their votes, Austria was leading the pack with 258 points, closely followed by Switzerland with 214 points.
The UK found themselves in a respectable 10th place with 88 points awarded from the juries.
Once the audience votes were tallied, Austria received an additional 178 points, securing their victory.
Israel came in second place with 357 points, Estonia clinched third position with 356 points, and Sweden rounded out the top four with 321 points.

As for the UK's performance, the act Remember Monday finished in 19th place, receiving a total of 88 points.
Prior to the Grand Final, UK entry Remember Monday were pegged at distant 66/1 odds to clinch the title. In a telling sign, nine other nations were rated as having better chances than the UK, suggesting that Remember Monday were more likely to prop up the table at 3/1 rather than secure the top spot, with a 12/1 possibility of scoring 'nul points'.

Taking the lead in the betting stakes was Sweden at a sturdy 10/11, trailed by Austria and France at 3/1 and 5/1 respectively, leaving them as the only contenders bearing odds tighter than 14/1 for victory. Ladbrokes spokesperson Alex Apati commented: "Remember Monday need nothing short of a miracle to cause an upset in Switzerland tonight, if the latest odds are anything to go by."
As the Grand Final loomed, Remember Monday divulged their thoughts on what taking the Eurovision stage meant to them, with member Charlotte stating: "It's so hard because you can't visualise that at all, so it's not even worth thinking about that many people... but just knowing that people are watching the three of us living our dream is everything!".
Their performance of What the Hell Just Happened?did little to win over the audience, culminating in a disappointing 19th place finish.
