Liam Gallagher has vowed to "do as he's told" on the much-anticipated Oasis reunion tour as he shared his limited sway over the setlist.
The iconic rock band's return to the stage, featuring brothers Liam and Noel Gallagher, has fans thrilled already.
The tour, starting tomorrow (July 4), will be a historic moment as it brings the siblings together for their first performance in over a decade and a half.
An image of Gallagher's social media exchange was shared on the r/Oasis subreddit, where fans are excited about the song selection for the tour.
When quizzed by a fan on how much influence he'd have over the setlist, Gallagher hinted that the majority of the tunes for the Cardiff gig were picked by Noel.
The question posed to him was: "Liam who will decide on the final word of the setlist? You or Noel? There's a lot of songs to decide on."
To this, Gallagher responded: "Noel's the boss, I'll do what I'm told as I'm a good boy."
The update has led to an outpouring of admiration from fans of Gallagher's relaxed approach to the upcoming concerts.
One fan expressed: "It's funny, but also really cool. Liam's chilled out a lot. Doesn't need to splash his ego all around the place as much. Just rock up, hang with your bro and SING HARD, mate."
Another remarked: "He probably just wants Songbird to be in it and after that he'll be fine with anything."
Fans are excited for the upcoming Oasis reunion, with a shared sentiment emerging on social media that it's high time to shake up the classic setlist.
One said: "I really hope we can finally skip 'Rock n Roll Star' they've been playing the hits as solo acts for years. I wanna hear some hidden gems like Hung in a Bad Place!".
Meanwhile, another fan wrote: "Makes sense since he's never cared about setlists or any of the other technical aspects can't see why he would start now."
Meanwhile another supporter mentioned: "When it comes to thing's I don't have much opinion on like when my wife goes shopping and asks what brands I prefer I always say 'you're the boss' because I don't want to deal with it."
"Liam lives for Oasis, and he knows him and his brother ARE Oasis," said someone else. "He's come along nicely, and Noel exiting the band in 2009 was the best thing that could've happened to both of them in the long run."
The chances of a Oasis reuniting without the baggage of the had one fanespecially thrilled. They wrote: "We wouldn't have this much noise and excitement around the reunion if they had kept on breaking up and making up another 15 years. I can't f***kin' wait!".
A third added: "He just wants to sing the songs. Makes no odds to him in what order."
