
Huge plumes of smoke can be seen billowing for miles after a fire broke ou at an electrical substation in London.
An LFB spokesperson said: "Two fire engines and around 10 firefighters have been called to a fire at an electrical substation on Victoria Passage in Westminster.
"Crews are on scene extinguishing the fire. There is a considerable amount of smoke which is making it a very visible fire. The Brigade's 999 Control officers have received around 40 calls alerting them to the blaze.
"The Brigade was called at 5.29am and is still on scene. Fire crews from Paddington and Euston fire stations are in attendance. The cause of the fire is not known at this stage. "
