Never-before-seen Princess Diana clothing to go on sale next month

Next month, over 300 pieces of clothes and accessories worn by the British Royal Family, , will be up for auction at 'Princess Diana's Style & A Royal Collection', hosted by Julien's Auctions.

The auction will feature iconic pieces from Diana's wardrobe, including her signature red nylon ski outfit, custom-made pieces by Gianni Versace and couture daywear by Catherine Walker.

Also featured in the auction are shoes, handbags, and accessories reflecting to global humanitarian and style icon.

British designer Elizabeth Emanuel, famed for co-designing Diana's wedding gown, said: "Diana's timeless beauty and style continues to inspire. I'm honored to share these memories with the world."

Diana was from 1985 to 1992. The ensemble, created by Baltimore-based brand Head, has a blouson-style bodice with dropped shoulders and dolman sleeves.

Diana showcased the ski suit in 1986 with a braided headband and gold hoop earrings, and later in 1991, she wore it with a cropped haircut and sunglasses.

Another item for auction is a Bruce Oldfield two-piece yellow and floral-patterned silk suit. Diana wore it on June 17, 1987, while attending Royal Ascot. She was accompanied by Queen Elizabeth II and Sarah Ferguson, Duchess of York, at the event.
