Thousands of Oasis fans are expected to descend on Heaton Park as the band perform their first hometown show since 2009 and its set to be a scorcher with the upcoming heatwave. Liam and Noel Gallagher left fans in shock last August when they confirmed they were hitting the road together for the first time in 15 years. The brothers are famously known for their fractured relationship but have since put their differences aside as they embark on their tour. The band will play two huge gigs at Heaton Park, Manchester, for the first of five sold-out concerts. They'll first take to the stage on Friday, July 11 and again on Saturday, July 12. Then, having a short break before returning on July 16, 19 and 20.
The five Oasis dates at Heaton Park are the only UK shows not in a stadium, with the others held at Cardiff's Principality Stadium, Wembley in London and Murrayfield in Edinburgh. Each night, they'll perform their biggest hits to around 80,000 excited fans who had spent hours in ticket queues online to witness this legendary reunion gig. Express will be bringing you the latest information as events unfold from tonight.
Sites such as viagogo, Stubhub, and Vivid Seats allow fans to buy resale tickets from other fans. However, it is important to note that ticket conditions often prohibit resale after initial purchase. Those tickets may not be valid for admittance to gigs.
Fans intending to buy tickets for live events through resale websites should check the ticket terms and conditions, to confirm whether resale is prohibited, before they buy. Ticket terms and conditions can be checked with the original seller, such as Ticketmaster or Live Nation. If resale is prohibited, tickets bought second-hand could be voided and admission to the event refused.
