The wait is over. The 45th Ryder Cup is well underway in what has been a cauldron of noise at New York's notoriously hard Bethpage Black course.
Luke Donald and his Europe team arrive in the USA as the defending champions, having blown the Americans away in Rome two years ago. But winning an away Ryder Cup is altogether different story - a feat last acheived by Europe in 2012.
The USA team will be hoping to capitalise on their home advantage under the captaincy of Keegan Bradley, with the likes of World No. 1 Scottie Scheffler, Xander Schauffele and big-hitting Bryson DeChambeau in their squad. But European side is packed full of experience. Masters Champion Rory McIlroy leads the charge, with Tommy Fleetwood and Jon Rahm just a couple of the stellar names hoping to bring the Samuel Ryder trophy back home after building a small lead in this afternoon's foursomes. But will Team Europe have held onto their advantage when the four-balls concludes?
It promises to be a weekend to remember, so stick with the Express LIVE blog as we guide you through the whole event.
