Television star Susannah Constantine has been given a crude nickname by her two daughters after giving up alcohol. It comes less than five years after she revealed she was a "high-functioning alcoholic".
In 2020, Susannah explained she had been in recovery for seven years. She said her relationship with alcohol had "been an unhealthy one".
The former What Not to Wear star would wait until 6pm hit as she "looked forward" to her first glass of wine. Although Susannah explained she would often find a glass or two becoming "a bottle and a half" as she woke up the next day "struggling to remember the night before".
After hitting "rock bottom" and deciding it was time for a change, Susannah felt she had to address her weight. She started to "eat more cleanly" and "upped the exercise", taking part in Strictly Come Dancing in 2018.
But when she turned 55, after quitting drinking, Susannah says she started to notice problems with her skin. Speaking to the Telegraph, she said: "Because I'm someone who has always had good skin, I had never really considered doing something about my face. They say that alcohol dehydrates your skin, but I think it made my face so bloated that it kept my skin buoyant."
She decided it was the time to undergo a non-evasive procedure to help her skin. In the past six months she has had three sessions of Harmony Bio-Boost, a laser treatment that helps boost the skin's collagen.

Since undergoing the treatment, Susannah says she has noticed the look of spider veins around her nose has improved and the "speckled egg" pigmentation on her chin disappearing. She feels as though she has "much more of a glow" now.
The reaction from her family and friends also left Susannah overjoyed with the result. She says when her daughter Esme asked her boyfriend how old he thought the TV star was, she was left "over the moon" when he replied 55.
Susannah told the Telegraph that her daughters - Esme and Cece - now call her a "gilf". She explains: "As a 63-year-old woman I'll take the compliments from wherever they come.
"It's like a milf but a granny version. Little s***s!"
When asked now if there are any beauty secrets Susannah would pass onto her two daughters, she says "less is more". She however believes that social media has meant younger women today don't "don't appreciate how beautiful they are".
Alongside Trinny Woodall, Susannah carved out a media career in the 1990s and 2000s. The pair first worked together on Ready to Wear, a weekly style feature launched in the Daily Telegraph in 1994.
They began presenting What Not to Wear on the BBC in 2001, remaining on the show for five series. They later hosted Trinny & Susannah Undress on ITV until 2007.
Since then Susannah has appeared on shows such as Strictly and I'm a Celebrity...Get Me Out of Here!.
