'RCB Aa Jao Bhai': Rohit Sharma Gets Crazy Request Amidst Uncertain IPL Future With Mumbai Indians: Watch

There is a lot of uncertainty surrounding Rohit Sharma's future in IPL. Rohit was the heart and soul of Mumbai Indians (MI), however, things went south for him after MI decided to remove him as captain and hand the leadership to Hardik Pandya, who was traded to MI from Gujarat Titans (GT). The move sparked speculations that Rohit won't stay at MI for IPL 2025. For several months, it was believed that Rohit would part ways with MI, however, a recent report in Indian Express presented a different picture. The report revealed that Mumbai Indians are keen to retain Rohit Sharma and senior players like Suryakumar Yadav, Hardik Pandya, and Jasprit Bumrah. Amidst the wave of rumours and speculations, a video of Rohit Sharma went viral where the Indian captain was asked to join RCB in IPL 2025. Rohit is currently leading India against New Zealand at the M Chinnaswamy Stadium, the home ground for Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB). In the video, Rohit was walking towards the dressing room when an RCB fan asked him about his future in IPL. "IPL main kaun si team", asked the fan. Rohit, being the witty guy he is, asked the fan, 'kidhar chahiye bol.' The fan responded by saying, 'RCB aa jao bhai'. Rohit said something but the audio wasn't clear as he walked away towards the dressing room.

India In Trouble In 1st Test vs New ZealandMeanwhile, India are in deep trouble in the first Test against New Zealand. After being shot down for 46 in the first innings and then conceding 402 in the second innings, India made a tremendous recovery and put New Zealand on the back foot. Half-centuries by Rohit Sharma (52) and Virat Kohli (70) laid the platform for the Indian fightback before Sarfaraz Khan (150) and Rishabh Pant (99) put India in a comfortable position. With lead swelling, New Zealand made a roaring comeback and got the wickets of Sarfaraz, Pant, KL Rahul and Ravindra Jadeja in quick succession as India slipped from 408-3 to 441-7. India's lead is 102 and there is not much batting to follow. India would need at least a score of around the 150-run mark to make a match out of it.
