Noida: The construction of the Noida International Airport is in full swing as it is expected to be operational next year in April. Now, with the airport boasting several amenities, the demand for the nearby land for an investment option has grown significantly. The Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of the has said that many foreign reality firms are ready to infuse money into housing projects near the airport.YEIDA is the nodal agency responsible to oversee the development around the Noida International Airport. YEIDA CEO Arun Vir Singh told The Print that real estate developers' companies from the US, Japan, and South Korea are making requests for land allotment around the airport.ALSO READ |

YEIDA's Plans: 3 Townships, Japanese And South Korean Industrial CitiesAccording to the report, Singh said that three proposed township projects will be developed on 70 to 100 acres of land in Sector 22D, Yamuna Expressway. He mentioned that real estate firms from US, Japan, South Korea, among others, have expressed interest in developing housing projects. "Therefore, we have decided to allot three land parcels for development of townships, or large-scale group housing, along with hospitals, schools and commercial facilities in sector 22D. We will soon come up with a scheme for it," he added, as quoted by The Print. ALSO | In addition, YEIDA plans to develop Japanese and South Korean industrial cities, spanning across 395 acres and 365 acres respectively. These will be established in range of 5 to 10 km from Noida International Airport. YEIDA meanwhile is in the process of acquiring land for these developments."This will result in employment generation and also boost the local economy. In our bylaws, we have permitted 50 percent of village land to be used for commercial use," Singh said, quoted the report.Apart from 11 proposed industrial clusters, the cities will cater to areas such as semiconductors, data centers, IT, apparel, toys, medical devices, handicrafts and more across sectors 28, 29, 32, and 33, it added. The construction will be done in a way that industrial clusters will also have a cargo hub and terminal.
