Under the directives of SP Ankit Jaiswal, the operation was executed successfully by a team led by sub-inspector Vipin Masih, in-charge of Neemuch city police station, and Pradeep Shinde, head of the Cyber Cell. Based on a tip-off received on Wednesday night, the joint police team searched a house located in Yadav Mandi, Neemuch City, where two suspects were caught red-handed while placing online bets on the IPL 2025 match between Chennai Super Kings and Kolkata Knight Riders through online IDs. The arrested individuals were identified as Kapil Yadav, 28, a resident of Neemuch city, and Anil Yadav, 34, a resident of Neemuch. Interrogations revealed that the accused lured individuals by promising returns 10 to 20 times their investments and earned profits by providing access to online betting IDs and lines.
