Kanpur: MUC outplayed KGSC Club by 31 runs and collected full points in the KDMA league match held at Kanpur South A ground on Thursday.
MUC, batting first, posted a total of 9 for 123 runs in 20 overs. Thereafter, they restricted the KGSC innings to 9 for 92 in 20 overs. Rahul Singh of MUC was the hero of the match as he scored the highest 22 runs and then captured 2 wickets for 20 runs.
Gandhi Gram, in another match, drubbed City Club by 38 runs at Kanpur South B ground. Gandhi Gram, put into bat, scored 202 runs and thereafter, they wrapped the innings of City club on 164.

JNT U-12 cricket: Trials to select teams for the 13th JNT Under-12 cricket tournaments will commence at Kanpur South Ground from Friday. Amit Mishra, organising secretary, said around 600 young cricketers have registered for trials. Those who had got their badges on May 6 will be tested on the very first day. The aspirants of other districts or out of city can give their trials between May 9 to 11. Around 228 cricketers would be tested on the first day by Vikas Yadav, Rakesh Tiwari, Indrapal Singh and SN Singh.
