Mysuru: A 7-year-old leopard was rescued on the outskirts of HD Kote town on Wednesday. The leopard was caught in a cage placed on the farmland of a local resident. As the leopard was healthy, the forest department decided to release it into the forest.
This is the third leopard caught in the area in the past week. In total, two male leopards and one female leopard were caught. Locals said leopards are regularly spotted in the area.
