Allu Arjun and director Atlee are joining forces for the first time with their upcoming film, tentatively titled AA22xA6. Reports now suggest that the film will feature five heroines in prominent roles.

A Star-Studded Female Cast

According to a report by Aakashavaani, Allu Arjun’s upcoming film already has Deepika Padukone, Mrunal Thakur, and Janhvi Kapoor on board as female leads. Kingdom fame Bhagyashri Borse is also being considered, while the makers are still on the lookout for a fifth heroine.

As of now, this is just a report and will be confirmed only after the makers issue an official update.

The ambitious project AA22xA6 has been creating buzz as a first-of-its-kind venture in Indian cinema. Reports suggest that Allu Arjun will take on multiple roles in the film, including one as an animated version of himself.

The upcoming film is reportedly set in a “parallel universe,” with the makers joining forces with international studios for high-end VFX. Allu Arjun has already begun physical prep for the project, though an official announcement is still awaited.

Deepika Walks Out of Spirit

Interestingly, Deepika was originally slated to star opposite Prabhas in Spirit, the upcoming cop action film directed by Sandeep Reddy Vanga. However, she has now exited the project.

The report also added that the actress demanded a fee of Rs 40 crore, while the makers were only willing to offer Rs 20 crore. Earlier, Saif Ali Khan and Kareena Kapoor were also in talks for the film but reportedly stepped away after similar disagreements over remuneration.

With her dates now free, Deepika Padukone is reportedly signed on for AA22xA6, alongside four other heroines.

Allu Arjun’s Busy Slate

On the work front, Allu Arjun was last seen in Pushpa 2: The Rule, directed by Sukumar. A sequel to Pushpa: The Rise, the film also stars Rashmika Mandanna and Fahadh Faasil. It continues the journey of Pushparaju, a daily wage labourer who rises through the ranks to become the kingpin of a sandalwood smuggling syndicate.

With Pushpa 2: The Rule ending on a high note, the franchise is set to continue with a third installment titled Pushpa 3: The Rampage. Meanwhile, Allu Arjun is also making headlines for his upcoming collaboration with director Atlee in the tentatively titled AA22xA6. In addition to that, he is reportedly teaming up with director Trivikram Srinivas for a grand mythological project.
