The countdown for the first season of Celebrity Masterchef finale has begun and tonight the show will get its winner. Top 5 finalists Tejasswi Prakash, Gaurav Khanna, Nikki Tamboli, Rajiv Adatia and Faisu gear up to impress the judges with their cooking skills for the one last time.
The finale episode is divided into two parts and in last night's episode, the celebrity contestants got overwhelmed as their parents came on the show to support them in the finale round. Tejasswi Prakash got a special surprise as her boyfriend and television's famous actor Karan Kundrra appeared on the show with her lucky Panda jacket to cheer for her.
The episode was indeed a special one for Tejasswi as the actress got one of the biggest compliments of her Celebrity Masterchef journey by none other than Sanjeev Kapoor. The pioneer of cooking shows, Sanjeev Kapoor is the special guest for the finale round.

In the episode, Chef Sanjeev Kapoor revealed that he’s been following the show closely and knows about Tejasswi Prakash’s dream of earning a Michelin Star. In a touching gesture, he handed her his contact card and encouraged her to keep in touch. Tejasswi was touched by the gesture and said, "This is huge". She thanked Sanjeev Kapoor.
For Tejasswi, the gesture served as a touching reminder of the constant support and faith Karan has shown in her. Throughout her time on Celebrity MasterChef, she has frequently expressed her ambition to launch her own restaurant and eventually earn a Michelin star.

She shared, “The Michelin star dream… the credit goes to Karan. He always encouraged me, saying, ‘Baby, I will open it for you and one day you’ll get that star.’ This dream exists because he believed in me.”
In tonight's episode, all the four judges Chef Vikas Khanna, Farah Khan, Chef Sanjeev Kapoor and Chef Ranveer Brar will be seen tasting the finale dishes of the Top 5 celebrity contestants and one of them will win the show.
