Chennai Super Kings have brought in South African youngster Dewald Brevis as a replacement for the injured Gurjapneet Singh for the remainder of the IPL 2025 season.
Brevis, dubbed ' Baby AB ' for his resemblance to AB de Villiers, brings with him explosive batting prowess. The 21-year-old has featured in 81 T20 matches, amassing 1,787 runs with a highest score of 162. He made his T20I debut for South Africa in 2023 and has played two internationals so far.
