Mumbai Indians captain Rohit Sharma led his team to a nine-wicket victory over Chennai Super Kings , scoring an unbeaten 76 off 45 balls and earning the player of the match award. During the presentation ceremony, he responded to the Mumbai Cricket Association 's announcement of naming Level 3 of the Divecha Pavilion at Wankhede Stadium after him.
"It's a huge honour. As a young kid I used to come here, watch the games. We were not allowed to come inside the stadium at some stages. Obviously, having played all my cricket here, grown up playing at this ground, to have that big honour, it's a very emotional moment. Whenever it happens, I don't know how I am going to react," Rohit said at the presentation ceremony.
