After several weeks of their emergence being promoted, the famous team finally arrived in WWE and made an instant impression by winning their first match. It was a Triple Threat Tag Team match, which they won by pinning Los Garza. This might be the beginning of a highly entertaining tenure in the Tag Team division of WWE.

Here are 3 reasons the Motor City Machine Guns could succeed in WWE

1. Enviable record as a tag team across promotions
The Motor City Machine Guns are three time Impact Tag Team Champions , one time ROH World Tag Team Champions, along with being IWGP Junior Heavyweight Tag Team Champions. They have represented their team in these different companies and made a name with strong performances and Championship victories. Most notably, they are known for tremendous performances in the TNA Impact.

2. One of the best highflying Tag Teams in the world

The famous “Ultimate X” match in TNA was proof of the athletic and highflying abilities of the Motor City Machine Guns. Both Alex Shelley and Chris Sabin were two of the most athletic and agile wrestlers of the promotion and the Ultimate X match was best suited for them due to their high flying moves. History suggests that such Tag Teams are the fan favorites in WWE. With the high repertoire of their engaging moves and agility, they are sure to entertain and enthrall the WWE universe, for as long as they are in the company.

3. Unlimited experience and exposure in Tag Team wrestling
Along with being one of the best Tag Teams in TNA Impact, the duo of Shelley and Sabin also used to ply their trade in several Indie promotions such as ROH and others. The kind of exposure that they’ve had since debuting in 2007 is unmatched and they could bring their experience into play in WWE. Considering the fresh looking Tag Team division of WWE SmackDown, they may fit the missing piece of the Tag Team division puzzle. They might be the most young tag team, but they are definitely one of the most effective with the experience and ability that these two carry. Also, the popularity that the duo enjoy in the Pro Wrestling industry is going to help them succeed and climb the ladder of success eventually.
