Overwatch 2 Season 16 is around the corner. Despite being released in 2016 (rebranded in 2023), Overwatch 2 has kept hold of the momentum as one of the most played games of all time. Not just for casual plays, this Blizzard Entertainment game has also been a staple in the competitive gaming arena as well for some years now.


When every new hero shooter is dying except Marvel Rivals, this legendary title has been able to carry forward its legacy. And as a result, the 16th season is set to arrive in the game on April 22, 2025. So, when will I be able to play the upcoming season?

Not only that, Blizzard Entertainment has paid heed to the requests of the fans as you will be able to play the 6v6 mode in the upcoming season as well. Stadium will be a brand new mode in Overwatch 2. Each match in this mode will follow the best-of-seven format, which should last around 40 minutes. However, this mode is only available in Competitive plays. Along with this new mode, loads of new skins are coming as well, like magical girl cosmetics for Widowmaker, Kiriko, Freja, Brigitte, and D.Va. That’s not the end. The Season 16 Battle Pass has tons of new options for skin lovers, for example: brand new demonic rock band and royalty skins.
