Seattle Seahawks 2025 schedule leaks suggest huge matchups prior to official release
Although nothing has been officially announced yet, there are a number of leaks indicating that the Seattle Seahawks could begin their 2025 NFL season with a massive game.
In initial reports from social media sources and fan sites, the Seahawks are said to play the San Francisco 49ers at home in Week 1. Another rumor is for an away game against the Pittsburgh Steelers in Week 2.

There is also buzz that Seattle might be hosting the Arizona Cardinals on Thursday Night Football in Week 4 and the Washington Commanders on Sunday Night Football in Week 9.
A rumored home game against the Minnesota Vikings is also on the cards for Week 13. The NFL hasn't officially confirmed these games yet, but fans are eagerly following leaks before the official release.
The complete schedule will be unveiled in a special broadcast on the NFL Network and ESPN. In the meantime, fans should approach every leak with skepticism. As noted by journalists on several platforms, these leaks may still be altered.
Seattle Seahawks have tough and manageable opponents in 2025
Seahawks’ 2025 opponents have home and away games because Seattle finished second in NFC West last season to Los Angeles Rams. They will host the Arizona Cardinals, Los Angeles Rams, San Francisco 49ers, Houston Texans, Indianapolis Colts, New Orleans Saints, Tampa Bay Buccaneers and Minnesota Vikings.
The Seahawks’ away opponents next season: Cardinals, Rams, 49ers, Atlanta, Carolina, Jacksonville, Tennessee, Washington and Pittsburgh.
Seattle has the 13th-easiest NFL schedule, per Vegas sportsbooks projected win totals, per Warren Sharp of Sharp FootballAnalysis. In the NFC, it's the seventh-easiest. Of NFC West teams, only 49ers (1st) and Cardinals (11th) have easier work ahead, while the Rams (20th) have the hardest.
Fans will learn exactly how it all fits together when the official NFL schedule is announced on May 14 at 5 p.m. PT.
