Jey responded with another Spear, followed immediately by a splash from the top rope. He went for the pin, but in a shocking turn, Gunther kicked out once more. Moments later, Gunther locked in his sleeper hold submission, but Jey managed to break the hold by reaching the ropes. The intensity escalated as both men began trading heavy blows.
Gunther tried to force Jey to submit, but Jey countered with a powerbomb of his own. Then came the unthinkable — Jey delivered two back-to-back superkicks, followed by three consecutive splashes from the top turnbuckle. To seal the deal, he nailed Gunther with a Spear and then locked in the sleeper hold. Gunther tapped out, and Jey Uso pulled off the unthinkable — becoming the new WWE World Champion at WrestleMania.
