NEW DELHI: Bangladesh chief adviser Muhammad Yunus on Friday presented a throwback picture of Indian Science Congress from 2015 to Prime Minister Narendra Modi during the bilateral meet in Thailand.
In the picture, PM Modi can be seen awarding a gold medal to Yunus at the 102nd Indian Science Congress.
Sharing the images, government of Bangladesh said, "Profsssor Muhammad Yunus is presenting a photo to Prime Minister Narendra Modi during their bilateral meeting in Bangkok on Friday. The photo is about Prime Minister Narendra Modi presenting a gold medal to Professor Yunus at the 102nd Indian Science Congress on January 3, 2015."
PM Modi met Yunus in Bangkok, marking their first interaction since Sheikh Hasina’s ouster in August last year. The meeting took place on the sidelines of the Bimstec summit , where leaders of the regional grouping convened to discuss multi-sectoral and technical cooperation.
